ShuCloud
The shoe wash bag designed to protect your shoes and machine.
Three compartments. One outer compartment per shoe, so the pair never touches each other or the drum. A centre compartment for laces, insoles and the small things that otherwise end up down the side of the machine. Insoles lie flat, not folded.
More than 3,000 chenille fibres, in Chalk, inside and out. Tested to ISO 105-C06 grade 4 colour fastness, so the colour stays in the fabric rather than on your white runners.
An engineered zip with a metal locking clip into a D-ring, teeth facing inward. Stress tested to 50 cycles at 60°C and 1400 rpm. That is a durability test, not a wash instruction.
- Put one shoe in each outer compartment. Insoles and laces in the middle.
- Cold water, gentle or delicate cycle, 600 to 800 rpm spin.
- Air dry only. Never the dryer.
Put them in. Take them out. Done.
Canvas, mesh and synthetic. Not leather or suede.
Fits: one pair, children's sizes up to men's US 14 / AU 13
Dimensions: 38 x 30 x 15 cm

Before/After the Machine Wash
How it holds
Three compartments. Nothing rubs, nothing tangles.
01
Left shoe
One shoe on its own side, held by the padded chenille wall.
02
Laces and insoles
Out of the shoe and into the centre pocket, so nothing tangles or thrashes.
03
Right shoe
The other shoe on the other side. The pair never touches through the whole cycle.
One outer compartment per shoe so the pair never touches, plus a centre pocket for laces and insoles.
The honest comparison
Against other shoe laundry bags.
Mudroom Co The Shoe Wash Bag
Other shoe laundry bags
Three Compartments. One for each shoe and one for the insoles.
Locking Zip so the bag never shakes open mid-cycle.
Reverse Coil Zip. The zip teeth face inside the bag so they never hit the drum.
Colour fastness tested to ISO 105-C06 grade 4.
Stress tested to 50 cycles at 60°C and 1400rpm spin.
Leather or suede
No, and we say so
Cheaper bags are cheaper for a reason. Something has been left out, and it shows once the drum is turning: the zip, the fit, the stitching, the dye. Ours is tested to ISO 105-C06 grade 4 colour fastness, so the colour stays in the fabric rather than on your white runners, and the zip locks with a metal clip into a D-ring so the bag never shakes open mid cycle.
Step by step
The wash, in the order that matters.
01
Knock the mud off
Dry mud brushes off in under a minute with a soft brush. Wet mud sets in the wash, so this step is not optional.
02
Load the bag
One shoe each side, laces and insoles in the centre compartment. Zip closed and check the pull is tucked.
03
Cold, gentle, 600 to 800rpm
Cold water, gentle or delicate cycle, low spin. A towel or two in the drum keeps the load balanced and quiet.
04
Shoe trees, then air dry
Trees in while damp to hold the shape. Air dry out of direct sun. Never a dryer, never a heater.
Sunday night, not a project.
Questions you may have.
Yes, with conditions. Canvas, mesh and synthetic shoes only. Never leather or suede. Always in a wash bag that cushions the shoes and protects them from the drum. Cold water, gentle cycle, spin up to 800rpm. Read more here
