Three steps. None of them complicated.
Step 1. Put the In.
Brush or rinse off any clumps of mud or dirt from the soles and uppers. Two minutes outside saves your machine twenty minutes of trouble later.
Remove the insoles and either loosen laces or remove them.
Put one shoe in each compartment of the shoe wash bag. Insoles and laces in the middle compartment. Zip the bag and put them into your machine with a half dose of mild washing detergent. No bleach. Wash with cold water on a delicate cycle with no more than 1000rpm spin.
Step 2. Take them out.
Remove the shoes, insoles and laces (if removed) from the bag. Insert the shoe trees that come with the kit. Place the shoes on a drying rack indoors or in indirect light. 12 to 24 hours. It's important to Air Dry only. Do not put your shoes in the dryer.
Step 3. Done.
